Kerry Lee Hawkins has been active in the dance community since starting dance lessons at the very young age of 3 years.Kerry’s dance journey would take her into the competitive and professional world of dance before settling happily on a career as a teacher/studio owner and ultimately the Director of Dancefest.

Kerry is a trained dancer in Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, Pointe, Musical Theatre and Stage. Teaching certification included the British Association of Teachers of Dance, Dance Masters of America and Dance Educators. Kerry is proud to have been President of Dance Masters of America, Canadian Chapter 38.

Kerry enjoyed years of also being a print and runway model but dance always remained her one true passion and she always knew she would be involved in the arts.
DANCEFEST debuted in 1990! After years of attending a variety of competitions Kerry knew what she wanted to implement in a dance competition.
DANCEFEST is proud to be promoting dance through healthy competition and being an advocate for the arts!
